Rangers Appoint ILC Media for New DVD Deal
Scottish Premier League side and UEFA Cup finalists Rangers FC has agreed a DVD licensing and distribution deal with ILC Media for the release of the club’s 2007/08 Season Review and UEFA Cup challenge. Having already claimed the League Cup title, and with places booked in the finals of both the UEFA Cup and Scottish Cup, Rangers could still win an unprecedented Quadruple.
Huge anticipation surrounds the club this season as Rangers compete in the UEFA Cup Final for the first time in their history, and have the opportunity to be the first Scottish side to claim the trophy. With the League Cup victory already secured, the prospect of winning four major trophies in one season is tantalisingly within reach and with such huge support for the Glasgow team, DVD sales are expected to do extremely well.

FA Hands FA Cup DVD Rights to ILC Media
The Football Association has announced that ILC Media has been granted the DVD licensing rights for the 2008 FA Cup Final. The Final, which will be held at Wembley on 17th May will see Premier League side Portsmouth FC and League Championship team Cardiff City compete for the honour.
With much anticipation surrounding the final, which is Cardiff City’s first appearance in 81 years and Portsmouth’s first in 69 years, the scene is set for a momentous occasion for fans of both clubs.

Tottenham Hotspur Commemorate Victory on DVD
The 2008 Carling Cup Final, was perhaps the most anticipated in years, as two of London’s biggest clubs, both at the peak of their form, battled it out for the honour. Growing independent DVD label ILC Media has announced this week that Daniel Gray has been appointed to the role of Head of Marketing for the company following a successful period as Marketing Coordinator since joining in October 2005.
Taking a new direction over recent months, ILC Media has expanded to incorporate new genre programming, in addition to its core football output, and the appointment recognises the ambition of the organisation to expand its operations and fulfil the potential of current and future brands within its portfolio.

Crufts DVD Launched to Trade
The 2007 Pet Index show, part of the Glee Exhibition, Birmingham, saw the trade launch of the first official Crufts DVD release, which features highlights from the past three years of action at the renowned dog show.
Recognised as the largest and most prestigious dog show in the world, Crufts is an international event, attracting over 150,000 visitors and 25,000 dogs annually.
Crufts: The Ultimate Collection (DVD0439 RRP £19.99) was released at Glee on 17th September.

ILC Media has announced this week that it is to extend its portfolio, having agreed a new three year exclusive DVD licensing and distribution deal with Barclays Premiership football team, Tottenham Hotspur.
The North London team has a well established fan base that has now expanded its DVD offerings through its relationship with the DVD publisher.

ILC Sport to Rebrand as ILC Media
Following nearly a decade operating as one of the most recognisable DVD labels in the UK sports market, ILC Sport is to rebrand as ILC Media, reflecting the organisations’ rapid growth and expanding license portfolio.
June 1st 2007 sees the company assume the new identity, which will be followed by the release of numerous ‘new-genre’ titles. Over recent years, the company, formerly recognised as ILC Sport, has acquired DVD distribution rights for numerous licensors, including UEFA, RFU, the English FA, and numerous leading Premiership and Championship football clubs.

Andrew Palmer Leaves ILC
Andrew Palmer has reached an agreement with Sally Woods to acquire his minority shareholding in International Licensing and Copyright Ltd, making Mrs. Woods the sole shareholder of ILC Ltd.
Further to this Andrew Palmer has acquired the minority shareholding in ILC Sport Ltd, previously held by Nigel Woods. In conjunction with the change of ownership, Mr. Palmer has resigned from his position as a board member and employee of International Licensing and Copyright Ltd.
Mr. Palmer would like to put on record his sincere gratitude for the support and commitment of the team at International Licensing and Copyright Ltd. during his tenure at the organisation, and wishes Sally Woods all the very best for the future at this exciting time in the development of International Licensing and Copyright Ltd.
